Kathleen Ellen Tasker, loved gardening

Kathleen Ellen Tasker, 89, of Aston, Pa., passed away Friday, Dec. 31, 2021, at Harbor Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Lewes. She was born May 5, 1932, in Ridley Park, Pa., daughter of the late Howard and Katherine (Horne) Clark.

Mrs. Tasker attended Notre Dame High School in Moylan, Pa. She worked for Westinghouse Electric in Lester, Pa. Mrs. Tasker lived in Aston for 62 years before moving to Rehoboth Beach. She loved gardening and was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mrs. Tasker was an associate of the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur and St. Joseph's Women's Guild.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tasker was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John P. Tasker of Aston; her brothers: the Very Rev. Howard T. Clark and John J. Clark, both of Essington, Pa. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Swanson of Rehoboth Beach; her son, Daniel Tasker and his wife Andrea of Aston; her grandchildren: Amanda Bertoncini and her husband Peter of Lewes, Kristen Spece and her husband Zac of Milton, Austin Tasker of Aston, and Jesse Swanson and his wife Lexi of Millville; and her great-grandchildren: Clara Bertoncini, Wade Bertoncini, and Zoe Jayne Spece.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3255 Concord Road, Aston, where friends may call beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 South Sproul Road, Springfield, Pa.
