Khalsa Jewelers gives back to help children in Ukraine
Khalsa Jewelers in Lewes held a two-day fundraising promotion April 9 and 10 to support children in Ukraine.
Guests gathered to enjoy treats and wine, and shop the store’s distinctive collection of beautiful jewelry. After the two days, $1,000, (20% of all proceeds) was donated to UNICEF for humanitarian relief for youth living in Ukraine during this difficult time.
“We are all part of the human family,” said Paul Cheng, the founder of Khalsa Jewelers and a world-renowned yoga master. “We are a 40-year-old family business rooted in the Delaware community, and as part of this family, we have the responsibility and privilege to help ensure the well-being and safety of children. This marks the first of many events we will be doing over the course of the year.”
