Event to honor memory of extraordinary physicians from Western Sussex County

An Evening of Celebration and Dance will honor the memories of physicians from the Western Sussex County community who have passed away in recent years. The Kim & Evans Family Foundation will present An Evening of Celebration and Dance, remembering the past, embracing the future. This elegant affair will be held from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 27, at Heritage Shores in Bridgeville.

The purpose is to pay tribute to the extraordinary physicians from the Western Sussex County community who have passed away in recent years, while also raising funds to support charitable programs that enhance the health and well-being of the community. The event will honor the memories of Dr. Harry C. Anthony Jr., Dr. Eduardo L. Jiloca, Dr. Donald T. Laurion, Dr. Khalid Manzoor, Dr. Joseph P. Olekszyk, Dr. Martin Cosgrove and Dr. Judith B. Tobin.

Proceeds will go toward several local projects including the Harry C. Anthony Jr. MD Scholarship Fund. The charitable programs directly impact the community in Western Sussex County, improving the quality of care and providing vital resources to those in need.

Tickets are $150 per person and include admission, dinner, assorted beverages including beer and wine, a silent auction, and an evening filled with dance and celebration. Sponsorships are also available.

The Kim and Evans Family Foundation Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was established in 2017 to better the lives of disadvantaged people and animals in Sussex County and beyond.
