Kim Thomas Binck, Jolly Trolley driver
Kim Thomas Binck, 65, of Ocean View passed away at home Tuesday, March 3, 2020. He was born June 15, 1954, in Granville, N.Y., son of the late Oakley and Ruth (Anderson) Binck.
Kim was a CDL driver for most of his career, driving for Agway and Griffith Oil. He ended his career as a driver for the Jolly Trolley in Rehoboth and Dewey Beach. In his spare time, Kim enjoyed snowmobiling, watching baseball games and NASCAR, fishing, boating and being by the water. In his youth, you could find him refinishing antique furniture and renovating classic trucks.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Binck was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Binck; and his niece, Aimee Froschauer. He is survived by one son, Daniel Binck and his wife Kaeyla of Elsmere; three daughters: Christina Downs and her husband Eric of Kennett Square, Pa., Tiffany St. John and her husband Ryan of Landenberg, Pa., and Aly Reynolds and her husband Andrew of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; eight grandchildren: Brandon, Ella and Logan Downs of Kennett Square, Baylis and Gemma-Lynne St. John of Landenberg, and Bransen, Sienna, and Ryver Binck of Elsemere; one sister, Judy Sullivan of West Chester, Pa.; and one sister-in-law, Kathy Binck of Veranda Springs, Fla.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 20, at noon, at the Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene, 240 State Road, West Grove, Pa. Interment will follow services at the Kemblesville United Methodist Cemetery, 1772 New London Road, Kemblesville, Pa.
