Knights of Columbus Chapter 11285 hosted its annual free throw contest Feb. 11 at the Oak Orchard Boys & Girls Club. About a dozen kids, ages 9 to 12, participated. The Knights also gave a $100 donation to the club, raffled off four pizzas and ended the event with a pizza lunch.
The winners for the 9- to 11-year-old age group were Daemon DeShields in first place, Jason Cotton in second place and Malcolm Burton in third place. Tyler Smith was the winner of the 12- to 14-year-old age group.
