Junior point guard Grace Fetterman, playing with a severely sprained ankle, scored 16 points to along with three rebounds, five assists and six steals.

“I knew I didn’t have to do a lot of crazy stuff this game,” Fetterman said. “I knew I had to take care of my ankle, and we played as a team and that helped me.”

“Our girls were excited,” said Royals head coach Jedidiah Roach. “I had to constantly tell them to take one play at a time. It’s all about defense. It was great getting Sierra back. It was uplifting. We needed her and also great to get Sara [Walton] back from her injury.

Lily Baeurle led the Mallards with 14 points. CC Lizas added 13, even though she dislocated a finger in the first half of the game. Carly Hoffman garnered eight points.

“Special thank you to our seniors for an amazing season,” said Worcester coach Brian McDermott. “Special shout out to Christine Lizas for playing through a dislocated finger, and giving everything she had for her graduating teammates. With endings come new beginnings for our sophomores to fill big roles next season.”
