League of Women Voters to host cybersecurity specialist
Award-winning cybersecurity expert, attorney and author Diane Janosek will present “My Lying Eyes: AI and the Age of Deception” at the Sussex County League of Women Voters’ social gathering set for 12 to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, May 19, at Bluecoast Seafood Grill & Raw Bar, 30115 Veterans Way, Rehoboth Beach.
Formerly a member of the U. S. Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service, Janosek served in leadership roles at the National Security Agency as the deputy director of compliance, commandant of the National Cryptologic University, and deputy chief information security officer. She also served in legal, policy and executive management positions, including chief legal officer of the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board and legal counsel at both the White House and the Pentagon.
Janosek is currently CEO of Janos LLC, where she leverages her law degree and PhD in cyber leadership to focus on the intersection of law, policy and technology. She has published over 30 technical and academic articles and book contributions. Her 45-minute presentation will follow social time and lunch with individual checks.
