Learn about supporting great causes at Milton Community Volunteer Fair Nov. 15

The Milton Public Library, in collaboration with the Milton Chamber of Commerce and the Cape Henlopen School District Mentoring Program, will present the Milton Community Volunteer Fair, with a theme of Joining Hands for a Stronger Community.

This community-driven event set for 1 to 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the library, 121 Union St., aims to connect passionate volunteers with Milton-area organizations and causes that matter most to them while promoting a stronger, more cohesive Milton community. Light refreshments will be served.

The Milton Community Volunteer Fair will serve as a one-stop destination for community members of all ages to explore numerous volunteer opportunities that align with their interests and skills. By fostering a sense of unity and purpose, this event will empower individuals to make a positive impact on their community.

Attendees can learn about diverse volunteer opportunities and connect with a wide range of organizations including local nonprofits, schools, environmental groups and more. Whether their passion lies in education, the environment, healthcare or social services, there will be options for everyone.

Representatives from participating organizations will be on hand to discuss their missions, answer questions and provide information about their volunteer programs. This is a unique chance to engage directly with those making a difference in Milton.

The Milton Community Volunteer Fair will offer a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, where everyone can explore their potential to contribute positively to Milton.
