Lefty’s Alley and Eats takes part in Chowdown for Charity

March 13, 2019

Lefty’s Alley & Eats participated in Chowdown for Charity hosted by The Next Generation-Southern Delaware March 1, at Maple Dale Country Club in Dover. Lefty’s joined other restaurants from Kent and Sussex counties whose local chefs prepared gourmet signature dishes which were voted on by event attendees.

The Lefty’s culinary team prepared orange marmalade poached shrimp egg rolls with napa cabbage, pickle veggies, pineapple teriyaki, and toasted cashews.

Next Gen South is an organization within the Delaware Community Foundation geared toward developing young philanthropic leaders in Delaware. Its current focus is supporting mental health services for children.

“This is our second time participating in this event. We especially like this one because it is so well attended by young community activists,” said Tom Kramer, Lefty’s executive chef.
