Lefty's hosts Strike Out Parkinson’s fundraiser

November 17, 2018

Members of the Parkinson's Education and Support Group of Sussex County, their families, friends, neighbors and business supporters gathered at Lefty's Alley & Eats in Lewes Nov. 2 for the second annual Strike Out Parkinson's fundraiser.

At the event, the group and their supporters bowled, had a meal or two and bid on items at a silent auction. The proceeds of more than $16,000 will be used to pay the costs of specialized exercise classes taught at Rise Fitness and other Sussex County facilities, as well as educational seminars.

A special thank you goes to Lefty's Alley & Eats owners D.J. Hill and Chad Moore, Director of Operations Jennifer Gooner, and the Lefty’s staff for hosting and assisting throughout the day.
