Dave Baker is my choice for senator for the 6th District. I first met him about nine months ago. I saw a calm, decent man with a strong grasp of the problems and concerns of our area. That is no surprise as he has lived in the area a long, long time. He raised his family here, was a school board member here, and spent many, many years working for the Sussex County government.
Under that calm exterior exists a steely determination to address issues he sees as a priority. First, he believes that Sussex County needs to get its fair share of funds for roads and roads improvements. Second, Dave is committed to working with insurance companies for those with addictions. He wants to get these individuals the amount of treatment they need to recover, not just the amount of treatment the insurance companies are willing to pay for.
These are but two of the issues that Dave Baker will champion. I urge you to vote for Dave Baker for Senate District 6 on Election Day.
