Letter: Go Red for Women event very successful

Thanks to the attendees of the 12th Annual Go Red For Women Luncheon & Fashion Show which was recently held at Baywood Greens. This was one of our most successful events to date.

We wish to express thanks to our speaker: Kurt Wehberg, MD, chief of robotics, co-chief of cardiothoracic surgery, VP of clinical innovation at Beebe Healthcare, who spoke about the importance of the DreamTeam and the impact that every member plays in the operating room, recovery, and every phase that touches the patient. He also talked about heart disease, and women with greater numbers than men, plus the different signs they experience, rather than relying on the  standard signs that men experience.
