Lewes Chamber honors Barb Shelton
February 8, 2012
Lewes Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau members honored Barb Shelton at their Jan. 26 breakfast meeting. Shelton has served as executive assistant for the chamber for the past six years and was the familiar and helpful voice on the other end of the telephone for chamber members and visitors. "You know what executive assistant means don't you?" said Executive Director Betsy Reamer. "That means I did whatever Barb told me to do!" Chamber members presented Barb with a custom embroidered pillow by Lewes artist Pat Staby-Rogers showing her in front of the chamber's office in the historic Fisher-Martin House behind the Zwaanendael Museum. Barb is continuing her work with Lewes Historical Society.
