Lewes Class of 1961 celebrates 61 classmates, 61 years

Members of the Lewes High School Class of 1961 gathered for a reunion Sept. 24 at Irish Eyes.
Always a significant number to these alums, 61 indicates the number of students in their class as well as the year of their graduation. As it adds up, this gathering also marked 61 trips around the sun since they received their diplomas.
In attendance were 14 classmates and five spouses.
