Lewes Dragon Boat Festival ready for a last run
Sept. 17 event benefits Sussex Academy and Lewes Public Library

The dragon boats are moved Sept. 14 across the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.
This will be the last year the unique and colorful dragon boats will ply the waters in Lewes.
The dragon boats have arrived for three days of practice sessions leading up to the fifth annual Lewes Dragon Boat Festival in Canalfront Park starting at 9 a.m., Sunday, Sept. 17.
The 26 teams had practice times Sept. 14 and will continue with practice from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday, Sept. 15, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 16.
