Lewes farmers market thanks Lee Ann Wilkinson Group

HLFM Market Champion Sponsor provides gift of financial support
July 14, 2021

The Historic Lewes Farmers Market announced that the Lee Ann Wilkinson Group gave a gift of $15,000 as HLFM Market Champion Sponsor for 2021.

The community-based, volunteer-run, nonprofit serves the City of Lewes and nearby communities through its weekly markets, educational activities, programs to increase market access and support of sustainable agriculture. It offers a wide array of local, organic and sustainably grown produce, meats, seafood, dairy and agricultural products produced by the market’s many farmers/producers.

HLFM is an integral part of Lewes’ special character, its sense of place and way of life, providing a family-friendly gathering place that honors and reinforces the region’s sense of community and strong agricultural roots.

Chris Holt, chief operating officer for the Lee Ann Wilkinson Group said, "Like the HLFM, the Lee Ann Wilkinson Group is deeply rooted in the greater Lewes community. We both share the same fundamental core belief that a prosperous community starts with investing in where you live. Whether it's real estate, home goods, food products, or supporting community-oriented organizations, buying and investing locally makes Lewes, and surrounding Sussex County, thrive. The Lee Ann Wilkinson Group is honored to be the 2021 Market Champion in support of all the farmers, volunteers and customers that help the HLFM to be both an incredible local asset and a market of national recognition.”

The market thanks the Lee Ann Wilkinson Group, a part of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Gallo Realty, for its strong commitment to the HLFM. Other sponsorships are still available.
