Lewes Historical Society to host First Friday March 1

Every month, the Lewes Historical Society welcomes locals and visitors alike to its Historic First Friday event from 4 to 7 p.m., at 110 Shipcarpenter St., Lewes.
The Sussex Tavern at the Rabbit's Ferry House comes alive as LHS history interpreters share fascinating tales and ales from the past. Tavern hosts serve up a selection of period drinks such as milk punch, grog and sangaree, to name a few.
Guest musicians add ambiance to the intimate setting, where everyone feels welcome. Tavern-goers are invited to enjoy the historic campus, and if there is a nip in the air, the fire pit will offer warmth.
