Landscapers placed the official Lewes semiquincentennial tree in Stango Park March 25.
The swamp white oak is near the Lewes Public Library pavilion. The tree will be dedicated at 10 a.m., Friday, April 24.
Mayor Amy Marasco said the city is giving out 250 native tree saplings, first-come, first-served, thanks to a donation from the state.
