Lewes unveils redesigned website, meeting management system

July 31, 2019

The City of Lewes flipped the switch on its newly redesigned website July 8.

The website, www.ci.lewes.de.us, is designed for easier navigation for visitors. An agendas and minutes tab at the bottom takes visitors to the city’s meeting management system, https://lewes.civicweb.net/Portal, where a schedule of that day’s and upcoming meetings is easily accessible. Live links on the meeting agendas provide public documents related to particular agenda items. Draft minutes for previous meetings are also available for visitors seeking more information about a topic.

Other tabs on the main page include frequently asked questions, services, and an online payment portal. A tab for forms takes visitors to a page where they can find forms for a Freedom of Information Act request, events in public parks or on the beach, weddings, bonfires and outdoor amplification. It’s also the place where one can find applications for a business license, building permit, employment with the city and to submit an application to the board of adjustment.

On the meeting management website, a visitor can search for documents, subscribe to receive alerts of upcoming meetings, view upcoming and past meetings, and review agendas and minutes. All agendas now have links to public documents related to specific items.
