Lighthouse sunset cruise registration open for June 6

The Delaware River and Bay Lighthouse Foundation will host one sunset cruise fundraiser this summer at 7 p.m., Saturday, June 6, departing from Anglers Fishing Center, 213 Anglers Road, Lewes. Check-in is a minimum of 30 minutes before departure time.

Proceeds will go toward painting and restoration projects at the Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse. 

The boat will cruise from Anglers Fishing Center in Lewes along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, across Roosevelt Inlet, and into the Harbor of Refuge to see the Delaware Breakwater East End Light and Harbor of Refuge Lighthouse. Attendees do not enter the lighthouses, but the boat will float alongside each one for some great views and photos.

This relaxing and fun event is BYOB and snacks. Bringing a light jacket is recommended, as temperatures may be cooler on the water.
