Lloyd’s employees, customers show compassion, kindness

October 7, 2025

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to the employees and customers of Lloyd’s Market for the kindness and patience shown during a recent visit. My husband, who is living with dementia, became distressed and refused to get back into the car after we stopped to pick up some apples. What could have been an uncomfortable and overwhelming experience was instead met with understanding, respect and genuine support from those around us.

In that moment, we experienced what a dementia-friendly community truly means – a place where people with dementia are seen, respected and supported. Lloyd’s staff and customers created that environment for us, and I am deeply grateful.

Thanks for reminding us that compassion makes all the difference. Lloyd’s Market is not just a store; it’s a part of what makes our community stronger and more caring.
