Local legislators not listening

July 25, 2025

Constant traffic. No state funding for beach replenishment. Our local schools are not getting the support from Dover they deserve. No collaboration and communication are taking place between the county and the state to address rampant overdevelopment, just finger-pointing. Trash is all over our roadways and green spaces, and infrastructure is overwhelmed. Our community hospitals are under attack. Our beloved local doctors and medical professionals are strained beyond imagination.

When will our state legislators step up to the plate to address these serious concerns, which they seem to only want to discuss during election years? Hopefully the balance that brings about progress is soon to come, but until voters realize the change we need is now, all these problems will continue, not just in the weeks and months ahead, but for years to come.
