A group of students from Love Creek Elementary School attended the Special Olympics Student Leadership Conference Jan. 15 at the Delaware Technical Community College campus in Dover.
Students proudly represented the school while participating in a full day of activities focused on leadership, inclusion and collaboration. The conference included team-building exercises, relaxation techniques and group discussions centered on fostering welcoming school communities.
During the event, students also brainstormed ideas for celebrating Inclusion Week at Love Creek Elementary in March, and explored ways to promote kindness and acceptance every day.
