The Main Downtown Area Of Broadkill Beach In The Early 1900s

The main road running parallel to the beach is paved now, and there are more beach cottages, but Broadkill Beach still retains the same feel conveyed by this postcard from the early 1900s. There is still a single store at the main intersection of the community, though no longer operated by the Beideman family. The store carries many of the same items listed here, and a lot more, including perennially favorite milkshakes.
