Margaret M. Pearson, obstetrics nurse

Margaret M. Pearson, 82, of Rehoboth Beach, formerly of New Jersey, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2020, at her home. She was born June 25, 1937, in Randolph, Vt., daughter of the late Alecander MacLauren. 

Mrs. Pearson was a proud veteran, having honorably served in the U.S. Air Force. She made her career as an obstectrics nurse, helping to bring countless babies into the world.  Mrs. Pearson's interests were many and varied, but none so compared to time spent with those she held dear. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. 

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death in 2015 by her beloved husband, James C. Pearson; and her son, Robert W. Pearson in 2006. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth C. Pearson; and her grandsons: Ian J. Murphy and Declan K. Murphy. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date at Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Rehoboth Beach.  Arrangements are being handled by Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
