Margaret Rowse of Lewes to celebrate 100th birthday Nov. 29

Margaret L. Rowse of Lewes will celebrate her 100th birthday Tuesday, Nov. 29.

Rowse is a voracious reader who loves her Kindle and tablet for reading and playing games. She also enjoys Sudoku and crossword puzzles. Rowse lived most of her life in Vermont with her husband Wilton, now deceased.

Rowse resides with her daughter Susan Shirley and Susan's husband Harry. Her granddaughter Tiffany Wiswall lives next door with her husband Keith and their four children: Hunter, 16; Austin, 10; and twins Braden and Aralynn, 9. All the grandchildren are very close to their “Grand Mimi.” Her grandson H. Whitfield Shirley III lives in Philadelphia. Rowse’s firstborn daughter Barbara Carlson and her husband Martin live in St Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Her granddaughter Tanya Peyton lives in Chesapeake, Va., with her husband Michael and their son, Rowse’s fourth great-grandson Kai, 7.

Her family asks everyone to join them in wishing Margaret Rowse a very happy birthday.
