Marianne Radcliffe Worley, had catering business

Marianne Radcliffe Worley, 80, of Millsboro passed away gently in the care of Renaissance Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, also in Millsboro.

Born in Lancaster, Pa., March 13, 1936, to the late Earl M. and Dorothy D. Kachel, she became a wife, a mother, and owner of her own catering business, and raised six children. She was a devoted mother and homemaker. She enjoyed doing crochet as a hobby, and liked ceramics and watching TV.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her first husband, Donald Radcliffe, Feb. 18, 1982, and her second husband, Walter Worley, March 16, 2011; she was preceded by two brothers: Theodore and Earl Kachel. She is survived by her children: Donald E. Radcliffe II and wife Karen of Millsboro, Thomas P. Radcliffe and wife Jean of Denver, Pa., David E. Radcliffe and wife Annette of Camden, Sharon L. Carey and her husband Jeffrey of Davenport, Fla., Timothy E. Radcliffe and his wife Robyn of Clayton, and Keith Worley and his companion Susan of Dover. In addition, Marianne has two brothers: Richard D. Kachel and his wife Jean of Stevens, Pa., and Thomas D. Kachel and his wife Stella of New Providence, Pa. She also leaves a great legacy of 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and many friends.

A graveside service is planned that will be private for the family, at McColley's Chapel Cemetery. There will be a public memorial service Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1 p.m., at The Water's Edge Church, 411 Union St., Milton.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to  Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriot Way, Milford, DE 19963, or to The Water's Edge Church, 411 Union St., Milton, DE 19968.
