Marins celebrate anniversary

Kristen Asmussen and Jon Marin were married March 6, 2010, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Carbondale, Ill.  In June 2010, celebrations of their marriage were held in Delaware and Wisconsin.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy and Bob Asmussen of Lewes. Kristen earned a bachelor’s degree from Catholic University in Washington, D.C., and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University. She is completing a pre-doctoral internship in Normal, Ill., where the couple currently resides.

The groom is the son of Bill Marin of Brussels, Wis. Jon graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He holds master’s and doctoral degrees in clinical psychology from Southern Illinois University and currently works at a private practice in Decatur, Ill. The couple celebrated their first anniversary March 6.
