Mark Alan Polo to read, sign books Oct. 5 at Browseabout

Browseabout Books in Rehoboth Beach will host author Mark Alan Polo from 1 to 3 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, for an in-store book reading and signing event. Polo will read from his new novel, “Mosquitoes and Men,” a Southern gothic drama published by Devil's Party Press of Milton.

The author is perhaps best known throughout the area for his work as an interior designer. He is president and owner of The Urban Dweller/Polo M.A. Inc., with offices in northern New Jersey and a satellite office in Delaware. Polo has resided in Delaware since 2014. 

In 2018, Polo was among the interior designers to contribute to the Village Improvement Association Designer Show House in Rehoboth Beach. He has published a variety of short stories in recent years. “Mosquitoes and Men” is Polo's first full-length novel.
