Mark Andrew Dixon Sr., loved to entertain
Mark Andrew Dixon Sr., 53, passed away peacefully Friday, April 7, 2017, after a very brief illness.
The son of Bob and Betty Dixon, he grew up in Kirkwood Gardens and graduated from Delcastle Vocational Technical High School in 1982. He was employed for many years in the plumbing and pipefitting industry.
Mark was an avid sports fan with an undying love for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The entire world was a stage for Mark; he loved to entertain people and make them laugh. Mark had a huge circle of friends and his loyalty and care for them was immeasurable. He truly loved his family and cherished the time spent with them.
Mark is survived by his wife of 24 years, Shari (Lardi) Dixon; his children, Mark, Erik and Jenna; his mother, Betty Dixon; his brother, Rob and his girlfriend Glenda Soler; his sister, Julie Dixon and her boyfriend Al Tulini; his two dogs, Solomon and Maximus; and his cat, Kitty.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Dixon.
There will be an informal, lighthearted celebration of Mark's life from 1 to 4 p.m., Saturday, April 22, at Irish Eyes Pub and Restaurant, 213 Anglers Road, Lewes.
