Mayor will add valuable dimension in Dover

October 17, 2014

For 15 years I have known Marie Mayor, now a candidate for the Delaware House in RD 20. I would describe her as energetic, focused, friendly, sincere, trustworthy, dependable, honest, positive, down-to-earth, as well as family and community oriented.

Marie has a wide array of experience in politics and policy. She is a successful business owner of Lavender Fields Farm in Coolspring. Marie has tirelessly served on numerous community boards, committees, and chambers as well as in state associations.

As an educator for many years at the local, state, and federal levels, Marie will add a valuable dimension to important discussions about educational excellence and small/local business in the state legislature. I believe she is a person who will be able to “connect the dots” between state, county, and local issues. None of her opposing candidates has the educational policy and small-business experience or community involvement that she brings to the table.

I hope you will join me in voting Nov. 4 for Marie Mayor. By doing so we will be sending a strong, civic-minded educator and small-business person to the Delaware House. She will be a strong voice for all of us!!
