Mia Moshier of Lewes awarded for excellence at Boston University

Boston University announced that 2021 graduate Mia Moshier of Lewes, Sussex Academy class of 2017, received the 2021 Chuck Giles Award for Excellence in Technical Production.

"Mia is an incredibly deserving winner of the Chuck Giles Award for Excellence in Technical Production. During her four years at BU, she has grown from a small, quiet freshman into a small, quiet senior. In all seriousness, Mia has shown the [School of Theatre] that you do not need to be large in stature or voice to make a massive impact on a program. She has spent the past two years working hard to hone her skills as a technical designer and will no doubt leave as big a mark on the professional world as well. We will miss her infectious laugh and self-deprecating humor, and we are all better for having spent the past four years with her. Congratulations, Mia,” said Joel Brandwine, assistant professor, technical production.
