Microgreens farmers speak to Milton Garden Club

At their March 21 meeting, Milton Garden Club members hosted guest speakers Jason and Cherlyn Minto.

With a short slide show, the Mintos gave an informative presentation about their business, That Microgreens Guy, which provides delicious and nutritious microgreens all year round.

“Whether you’re a health enthusiast, a culinary connoisseur, or simply someone who enjoys fresh, flavorful greens, we’ve got you covered,” said Cherlyn Minto. Garden club members received samples to taste and to take home.

That Microgreens Guy will be at three of the local farmers markets this season: Nassau Valley Vineyards on Sundays, Hops and Crops at Revelation Brewing in Georgetown on Wednesdays and the Milton/Broadkill Farmers Market on Fridays.

During the late fall, winter and early spring months, freshly harvested greens are offered every Sunday with pickup at the Minto home just outside Milton.
