Millsboro couple celebrates 60th wedding anniversary
Arzella (Shannon) and Winfield T. Stewart of Millsboro, formerly of Wilmington and Bear, celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, Oct. 16.
They were married in 1954 by the Rev. Robert M. Russell Jr. at Calvary United Presbyterian Church in Wilmington.
Arzie is retired from the House of Representatives, Dover, and Win is retired from the DuPont Company, Chambers Works site, N.J. They permanently relocated to Millsboro in 1991.
Their children are Rennée L. Stewart of Long Beach, Miss., James L. Stewart of Bear and Patti J. Stewart of Lewes. They also have six grandchildren, Jennifer Lahuta, Michael Lahuta, Katherine Stewart, Tiffany Souders Winkle, Daniel Souders and Alex Souders; and two great-grandchildren, Braxton and Madison Winkle.
