Milton Arts Guild holds student show
Milton Arts Guild kicked off its annual student show with a reception April 13, allowing the public to get a first look at pieces by students from Milton’s three schools: Mariner Middle School, H.O. Brittingham Elementary School and Milton Elementary School.
Students in the show are as young as first-graders, and works included paintings and sculptures. The pieces will be on display at the art guild’s Federal Street gallery until Tuesday, April 22.
Ryan Mavity covers Milton and the court system. He is married to Rachel Swick Mavity and has two kids, Alex and Jane. Ryan started with the Cape Gazette all the way back in February 2007, previously covering the City of Rehoboth Beach. A native of Easton, Md. and graduate of Towson University, Ryan enjoys watching the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals and Baltimore Orioles in his spare time.
