Milton Garden Club holiday greenery sales postponed to Dec. 6

December 4, 2020

The Milton Garden Club will be selling fresh green wreaths, bundles of greens, grave blankets, mailbox covers, small arrangements, centerpieces with or without candles, and other holiday greenery from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 6, in the courtyard at 115 Union St. The original date, Saturday, Dec. 5, was changed due to the rain forecast.

Sales will move across the street from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 12, to the sidewalk in front of Milton Historical Society at 210 N. Union St. In addition to offering same items from the previous week, the club will also be selling small arrangements, centerpieces, wreaths, and bundles of holly and magnolia. All greenery is freshly picked from around Sussex County.

Club members will also be selling 50/50 raffle tickets. Tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn at 2 p.m., Dec. 12. The 50/50 raffle is taking the place of the club’s very popular dessert-of-the month raffle for this year.

For more information or to order tickets, call Sandy at 302-684-8315 or Kathryn at 302-684-3804. Parking will be available all three dates at the town lot across from the library. Attendees are reminded to wear face coverings and practice social distancing when at the tables.
