Milton Theatre and Sussex Pride will present the annual Milton Pride Festival at 4 p.m., Saturday, June 14, with the theme Small Town – Big Heart, in historic downtown Milton. Attractions include live performances, local vendors, food trucks, family-friendly activities and community resource booths. Admission is offered as a pay-what-you-can experience, allowing everyone to take part regardless of budget. All proceeds will support the Milton Theatre’s Education Wing Capital Campaign, an initiative dedicated to expanding arts education and creating spaces for the next generation of performers, artists and dreamers.
“This year’s theme, Small Town – Big Heart, perfectly captures what Milton Pride is all about,” said John Paul Lacap, marketing director, Milton Theatre. “We may be a small town, but our commitment to love and inclusivity knows no bounds. Pride is not just a celebration; it’s a promise to keep creating a space where everyone is seen, valued and safe. The event supports and celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and allies, while reinforcing the Milton Theatre’s role as a cultural beacon and safe space for self-expression in Southern Delaware.”
