Milton Theatre honors 50th anniversary of ‘A Chorus Line’

The Milton Theatre’s performance of “A Chorus Line” celebrates the 50th anniversary of one of the most acclaimed Broadway musicals in history. Performances run until Sunday, March 8.
The 1975 play explores the lives of dancers auditioning for a show, highlighting their personal stories, struggles and dedication to the art of dance.
“This Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece dives into the souls of 17 dancers competing for a spot on the grueling Broadway line,” said Milton Theatre’s John Paul Lacap. It features iconic numbers like ‘What I Did for Love’ and ‘One.’”
The performance will make the audience laugh and cry as the story shows how each of these dancers must lose their individual identities when they become an anonymous part of the chorus line.
“Our production captures every drop of sweat and moment of raw ambition on the intimate stage of the Milton Theatre,” said Lacap. “It brings you closer to the heart of the story than ever before.”
