Miss Delaware 2017 crowned in Lewes

Miss Delaware 2017 Chelsea Bruce walks the stage after being crowned. Bruce is from New Jersey but is studying at the University of Delaware. Bruce, a political science and economics major, chose her platform, creating awareness of mental health, because of a family friend who committed suicide.

After three hours, the 14 contestants were narrowed to the top five and the Miss Delaware 2017 was named.
