Mixx XV Expo celebrates Hispanic traditions with teens and families

In Latin culture, the celebration of a young girl's journey from childhood to young womanhood is known as Quinceañera. The Miss XV Magazine Expo, held March 29 at Independence Hall in Millsboro, highlighted key elements in the traditional ceremony including dazzling ball gowns, music, food, family and friends.
Popular segments of the expo included fashion shows, homage to local heroes and their families, and live entertainment from México and Panamá, among others. Hoy en Delaware newspaper organizes the Miss XV Expo to inspire young Latinas in a family and community environment.
