M&T Bank co-workers lend a hand at New Life Thrift Shop

For the third consecutive year, M&T Bank team members spent a day volunteering at the New Life Thrift Shop outside Lewes.

The thrift shop is an initiative of Lewes Rehoboth Association of Congregations. All proceeds go back to the community in the form of grants.

This year, more than 35 M&T co-workers rolled up their sleeves to pitch in and move more than 125 boxes of stored Halloween items from a warehouse to the shop’s work area in preparation for the season. They also helped move winter coats from storage to the sales floor. Outside the shop’s main entrance, volunteers helped weed and clean up adjacent flower beds.
