Munsters Masquerade Ball 2024 benefits Cape Community Fund

November 2, 2024

The Funster and Munsters Masquerade Ball 2024 was held at the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel Oct. 27, when ghosts and goblins held a devilish dance party and rocked out to the music of The Funsters. The event’s proceeds benefited the Cape Community Fund.

“This was the what we hope will be an ever-growing annual event thanks to the hospitality of the Zerby family and the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel,” said Cape Community Fund chairman Butch Archer. “They wanted to do an event to assist the Cape Community Fund with fundraising, and we are already looking forward to next year. And, who can't have a good time with The Funsters?”

The Cape Community Fund assists those who are experiencing a catastrophe in their life, whether it's a major illness, a serious accident, a fire or job loss. The group is entirely made up of volunteers.

“The Cape Community Fund gives people a hand up, not a hand out,” said Archer. “We want people to know that they are not alone no matter how down they are.”
