NARFE Delaware Federation welcomes national board VP

The Delaware Federation of the National Active and Retired Employees Association hosted Paul Schwartz, NARFE National Executive Board Region 2 vice president, as its guest speaker Oct. 9. 

Chapter 1690 Coastal Sussex provided the venue at 1776 Steakhouse north of Rehoboth Beach, and more than 55 people from multiple Delaware NARFE chapters attended to hear Schwartz talk about NARFE priorities and its actions during the current government shutdown.

As a nonpartisan organization, NARFE is looking to support the federal workforce, both active and retired. Schwartz encouraged attendees to stay active as members and contact their federal legislative team as well as letting people know about the positive and vital work federal employees undertake, serving regardless of the political climate according to their oath of office. Anyone interested in joining NARFE may call 844-NARFE-NOW.
