Nassau Valley Vineyards second season of its farmers market will be held Sundays from noon to 3 p.m. through Sept. 24 at the vineyards, 32165 Winery Way, Lewes.
The market will host more than 20 vendors and will showcase the best local produce and artisanal goods. Nassau Valley Vineyards will feature its Sangria Bar along with its other award-winning Delaware wines. The winery is open for tours and tastings during market hours.
Vendors will include Old World Breads, Lavender Fields, Celtic Acres, Totem Farms, Stag Run Farms, Good News Market, Evans Farms, Crisp Pickles, Shore Pasta, Fischer’s Farm, Coastal Seasonings, Kennett Square Specialties, Corn Exchange, KAM Productions, Tea & Bag Lady and Tall Oaks.
Throughout summer, Nassau Valley’s market will feature many special guests, including Abbott’s Mill Nature Center staff who will host make-and-take programs. There will also be chef demos, gardening tips, children’s programs, and yoga and meditation mini classes at the market throughout the season.
The market will also feature live music every week. Matt Lafferty will kick off the market’s first day. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, stroll the market place and make a picnic. Enjoy a glass of wine or sangria. No pets are permitted in any of the market areas or winery buildings. No outside food or beverage is permitted.
