New course on Total Home Decluttering begins Dec. 8

Clients can choose group or private sessions
December 1, 2020

Alison Kero Organizing is offering a new virtual course, Total Home Decluttering, intended to teach people how to declutter and organize their entire home in just 10 sessions.

Participants can choose to attend a virtual group course or private sessions. The group course begins from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8, and runs to April 20. Class meets every two weeks to allow participants enough time to tackle each space.

With the private course, clients can independently schedule their 10 sessions. With both courses, all family members under one roof are entitled and encouraged to attend each session at no additional cost. The group course is $750 for all 10 sessions while the private course is $950.

Here’s what participants will learn:
• Class 1: Learning the Process of Decluttering (Why & How)
• Class 2: Tackling Your Wardrobe: Making You Look Your Best
• Class 3: The Bedroom: Creating a Space for Rest, Rejuvenation, and Relaxation
• Class 4: The Living Room: How to Create a Multi-Purpose Room that Flows (includes How to Organize Kids’ Stuff)
• Class 5: The Kitchen: How to Cook and Clean without Chaos
• Class 6: The Bathroom: Merging Form with Function
• Class 7: The Closets: How to Create Extra Storage Space
• Class 8: The Basement, Attic, & Garage: What & How to Store Items
• Class 9: The Tough Stuff: How to Declutter Highly Emotional Stuff without Fear, Guilt &/or Shame
• Class 10: How to Bring it All Together with Style.

Courses 4, 9, and 10 will also include a guest speaker such as an energy healer, child expert, design expert, or photo organizer.

“Hiring someone to organize for you rarely solves the underlying issues of clutter and disorganization,” said Alison Kero. “Learning the process with a coach teaches you how to set boundaries, increase your awareness, and learn how to trust your gut so you’ll make smarter decisions.”
