New Covenant Church joyfully welcomed 16 new members into its church family during a special service March 1. The celebration marked a meaningful moment for the congregation as friends, family and members gathered to affirm these individuals in their faith and commitment to the local body.
Those recognized recently completed the church’s New Members Class, taught by Pastor Shawn Rineholt, where they explored the mission, beliefs and vision of the church, and publicly declared their faith in Jesus Christ and desire to serve within the congregation.
“This is more than a number,” Rineholt said. “Each person represents a story of God’s faithfulness. We are seeing the Lord move in hearts and families across our community, and it is a joy to walk alongside these men and women as they grow in Christ.”
The church is also excited to welcome Shaun Fink as its new teaching pastor. Fink has been ministering Sunday mornings since the beginning of February, and has already become a valued part of the church family. His faithful preaching and heart for discipleship have strengthened and encouraged the congregation.
New Covenant Church believes this season reflects how God is actively at work in the community, drawing people to himself and deepening spiritual commitment.
“We are incredibly encouraged,” Rineholt said. “God is stirring hearts, building families and strengthening his church. We want our community to know there is a place for them here.”
New Covenant Church has adult Sunday school at 9 a.m., Sunday morning worship at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday evening worship at 6:30 p.m. Sunday services are open to all, and visitors are always welcome.
