Sussex council meeting on March 12
Sussex County Council will meet at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 12, in the county administration building, 2 The Circle, Georgetown. Included on the agenda is a possible vote on a conditional-use application filed by Country Lawn Care & Maintenance for a landscaping business on a 4-acre parcel along Hollymount Road near Lewes. Revised tax assessment list for Rehoboth set
Rehoboth’s 2019-20 tax assessment list is available for review in the city manager’s office of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave.
Any taxable property owner of Rehoboth Beach, whose property assessment value has changed, may file a notice of appeal between March 8 and March 18. The property tax assessment value appeal forms are available at city hall, or the form can be downloaded from the city’s website at www.cityofrehoboth.com.

Milton water committee meets March 13
Milton Water Infrastructure Land Acquisition Committee will meet at 2:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, at Milton library. The committee will meet in executive session to discuss preliminary land acquisition.

Lewes council special meeting set March 14
Lewes Mayor and City Council will meet at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 14, at city hall. The purpose of the meeting is to consider and possibly take action on the application of any future Annexation Residential zoning district amendments, including the density calculation formula, to the Lewes Waterfront Preserve major subdivision application. The meeting is being held in accordance with the recommendation in the Attorney General’s Office decision from Feb. 15.

Lewes budget meetings set March 14, 15
Lewes Mayor and City Council will meet at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at city hall to continue discussion of the fiscal year 2020 budget. Final markup for the budget will be at 10 a.m., Friday, March 15. A vote on the budget is expected at the Monday, March 18 regular meeting.

Lewes planners to meet March 14
Lewes Mayor and City Council will meet at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at city hall. The group will provide updates on the status of the Lewes Waterfront Preserve application and the Fishers Cove application. The group will also consider recommendations from the parks and recreation commission regarding the tree protection ordinance.

Cape school board meets March 14
The Cape Henlopen school board will hold a workshop meeting at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 14, at H.O. Brittingham Elementary. The board will take possible action on choice requests, board policies, facility usage pricing and the 2019-20 district calendar.

Dewey marketing committee to meet March 15
The Dewey Beach Marketing Committee is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m., Friday, March 15, at the Lifesaving Station, 1 Dagsworthy Ave. An agenda has not yet been posted.

Rehoboth budget workshop set March 15
Rehoboth commissioners have scheduled a budget meeting for noon, Friday, March 15, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. This is the last of the budget workshops scheduled before commissioners vote on next year’s budget, which begins April 1.

Rehoboth commissioners have scheduled their regular monthly meeting for 3 p.m., Friday, March 15, in the commissioners room of city hall, 229 Rehoboth Ave. The agenda calls for approval of next year’s budget, a public hearing regarding a permit of compliance hearing for a restaurant at 29 Baltimore Ave., and a possible approval of a license agreement between the city and 232 Rehoboth Ave. LLC to allow two trash dumpsters and propane tanks on city property.
