Cape school board meets Feb. 22

The Cape Henlopen school board will meet at 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22, in the Love Creek Elementary library. Lewes housing group to meet Feb. 20

The Lewes Planning Commission’s Housing Subcommittee will meet at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the Rollins Center.

The agenda includes discussion of accessory dwelling units. 

Lewes annexation panel meets Feb. 20

The Lewes Annexation Subcommittee will meet at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, at city hall.

The agenda includes discussion and possible recommendation to mayor and council on annexation of a parcel owned by Breakwater Partners LLC.

Buffers on Sussex Feb. 20 agenda

Sussex County Council will meet at noon, Tuesday, Feb. 20, in the county administration building, 2 The Circle, Georgetown. Included on the agenda are a discussion on perimeter buffers and action on five solar array applications. Dewey Read Avenue closure starts Feb. 27

The Delaware Department of Transportation has announced the closure of Read Avenue between Coastal Highway and Buena Street in Dewey Beach from Tuesday, Feb. 27 through Tuesday, March 12, weather permitting, for the installation of a new water and sewer line.
