Rehoboth planning meeting June 7
The Rehoboth Beach Planning Commission will meet at 1:30 p.m., Friday, June 7, in the city hall commissioners room, 229 Rehoboth Ave.
The agenda calls for a public hearing on a lot consolidation at 511 Stockley St. Ext. and a public hearing on the Belhaven Hotel site plan.

Offshore wind info session June 5
Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control will host a public information session from 4 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, about US Wind’s offshore wind energy project and its proposal to run the required offshore/onshore export cables under the parking lot of Delaware Seashore State Park at 3R’s Beach.
The session will take place at Beacon Middle School, 19483 John J. Williams Highway, west of Route 1 between Rehoboth and Lewes.
Feedback from the public information session will inform the formal presentation for the Joint Virtual Public Hearing set for Tuesday, July 9.
Written comments for the record will be accepted until Monday, Sept. 9. For more information, go to de.gov/uswind.
Lewes architectural panel to meet June 6
The Lewes Historic Preservation Architectural Review Commission will meet at 6 p.m., Thursday, June 6, at the Rollins Center.
The agenda includes discussion and possible action on two renovation applications.

Georgetown to celebrate Juneteenth
A Juneteenth Celebration will be observed in Georgetown Saturday, June 15. A parade will kick off festivities at 10 a.m., followed by entertainment, food, vendors, history presentations, door prizes and more at 316 S. Railroad Ave., Georgetown. The event is sponsored by the Richard Allen Coalition, Sussex County Community Choir, Alpha Kappa, Everlasting Hope Ministries and Restoration Worship Center in collaboration with the Buffalo Soliders.

Summer job and resource fair set June 6 in Milford
The Food Bank of Delaware, in partnership with the Delaware Department of Justice and Office of Defense Services, will hold a summer job and resource fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, June 6, at the Food Bank of Delaware packing barn, 102 Delaware Veterans Blvd., Milford.
Among the more than 30 vendors will be local employers looking to hire and community organizations with resources to help Delawareans.
Confirmed participants include Project Totem, Aquila of Delaware, Office of Defense Services - Public Defender’s Office, Abriendo Puertas, Wilmington VA Medical Center, Delaware Department of Labor, Sussex County Health Coalition and Sevita Health.
