No good deed goes unpunished

January 23, 2024

US Wind has generously offered to give Delaware beach towns $2 million each. Anti-wind people immediately pounced, proving that no good deed goes unpunished!

One opponent said this amount was a pittance. I guess if you pal around with Big Oil billionaire buddies, then $2 million in free money may seem small, but for the rest of us, it sounds mighty good.

Towns can always change their minds and stop receiving the free money. What’s not to like?
